Long description: Peumus boldus, also known as Boldo or Boldea fragrans, is a slow growing evergreen tree. In time it will produce small yellowish-green berry-like fruits. Its leaves have a strong woody aromatic scent and is therefore used for both medicinal and culinary purposes. In Chile and argentina it is commonly used to make herbal tea.
